How to perform Transactions in UPI Enabled Apps?

UPI Banner

Since demonetization in India everyone is opting towards Digital Payments (some of them are being forced to use it by the situation if you see). This led the government to take some big steps towards Digital Payment Systems, and being aware of that, they launched UPI (Unified Payment Interface) system in the guidelines of RBI (Reserve Bank of India).

UPI is brought to us by NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India) recently, but due to demonetization it doesn’t took a long time to reach the peoples of the country (the speech of the PM also helped).

Now many of us needs to understand how to use these apps to make any transactions, so here comes our short guide on performing transactions over an UPI enabled applications. If you still haven’t registered to any UPI App, then you may want to read “How to register in an UPI Enabled Application?” or if you don’t know anything about UPI then please read “Everything you need to know about UPI (Unified Payment Interface)?

  5. This time you will have to Enter your MPIN.
  6. Finally, you will get a Successful or Failure Message on the screen.

B. PULL – Requesting / Asking Money:

The process of Requesting or Asking Money is known as a PULL Request. The pull request is performed in the following way:

  8. In case the payer accepts the request, Payer will enter MPIN to authorize the transaction.
  9. Finally, the Transaction completes, and Payer gets a Successful or Decline Transaction Notification.
  10. And the Payee / Requester (You) will also get a notification and SMS from Bank for Credit of your Bank Account.

Everything you need to know about the newest payment system of India, UPI (Unified Payment Interface).

UPI Banner

Introduction:
India is moving towards a great change which started on 8th November, 2016 with the announcement of demonetization by the Prime Minister of India (Mr. Narendra D. Modi). It caused a serious problem to the public to do transactions using cash and this forced everyone towards digital payment options which were PayTM, Mobikwik, PayUMoney, Oxygen Wallet, Freecharge etc. earlier.

Now the government is willing to introduce the cashless transactions (actually it should be called less-cash transactions) all over the country to remove the black money (or let's say reduce) and to build a more digital society. So they came forward and launched this system, which is called UPI (Unified Payment Interface).

Definition:
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a system that powers multiple bank accounts (of participating banks), several banking services features like fund transfer (P2P), and merchant payments in a single mobile app. It was launched with Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) vision of migrating towards a 'less-cash' and more digital society by National Payments Corporation of India. UPI has built on the Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) platform.

UPI (Unified Payment Interface) can be used for the following purposes:
  • Immediate money transfer through mobile device round the clock 24*7 and 365 days.
  • Single mobile application for accessing different bank accounts
  • Single Click, 2 Factor Authentication .
  • Virtual ID of the customer for Pull & Push provides for incremental security with the customer not required to enter the details such as Card no, Account number; IFS C etc.
  • Bill Sharing with friends.
  • Merchant Payment with Single Application or In-App Payments.
  • Scheduling PUSH and PULL Payments for various purposes.
  • Utility Bill Payments, Over the Counter Payments, Bar-code (Scan and Pay) based payments.
  • Donations, Collections, Disbursements Salable.
  • Raising Complaint from Mobile App directly.

How to Create New or Multiple YouTube Channels under One Google Account?

Okay! Let’s get started. In a few days YouTube has completely changed its interface and everything is changed now (or let’s say the process to create a new channel). I’m writing this tutorial because even I was a little bit confused when I tried to create a new channel a few days back and others may also need some help to do it at the first attempt.

In the old interface of YouTube, it was easy to do so because there was a direct link in the account drop-down menu to create a new channel, but now in the new interface of YouTube, there are 2 methods to do this. Now to create a new channel you will have to proceed with the following process:

📌 Method 1:

1. Click on Profile icon / Account drop-down menu

First of all, login to your YouTube account and click on the account drop-down menu (The profile icon at the top right corner – see no. 1, marked on the cut-out of the screenshot below).

2. Click on the Gear icon / Settings

Now you will see your account options in a box. This time you need to click on the Gear icon (the commonly used icon for settings menu). It’s just at the right side of your profile and total no. of subscribers details near Creator Studio button/link (See no. 2 marked on the cut-out of the screenshot below).

3. Click on “See all my channels or create a new channel”

Now you have landed to the overview section of your YouTube settings. Here in this page at the bottom, just below “Additional features”, there is a link “See all my channels or create a new channel”. Click on that and proceed to the next page, you are now about to complete…

4. Now choose an account to create your new channel or click on “Create new channel”

Alright, now choose any of yours google+ page or brand account listed on the page as shown below in the cut-out of the screenshot below or click on the “Create a new channel” and proceed to next step.

5. Now you will see one of the following screen according to your selection

This time you will see a page as shown below in the cut-out of the screenshot below if you have selected any of your Brand Accounts (which were called Google+ Pages earlier). This is the final step to create a new channel using any Brand Account or Google+ page. Just select one of your Brand Account or Google+ Page and click on “OK” as shown on the screenshot marked with red.

OR

If you have clicked on “Create new channel” then you will land on a page as shown below in the cut-out of the screenshot below. In this process you have to type your new channel name in the given box (See the screenshot cut-out) and then click on “Create”. This is being the final step. Your new channel is ready! Now you can manage the settings of your channel and customize it. Thank You for reading, Take care!

📌 Method 2:

This method will move you directly to the 4th step. Just go to the link provided above and continue from the 4th step of method 1.

Thank you for reading, leave your feedback and comments and if you want, I will appreciate it and make further improvements to the post. Good Day!
