WhatsApp to bring the most awaited Feature very soon, Check this out!

WhatsApp is being used by nearly 1 billion peoples around the world everyday. And there is no doubt that you are one of them as you are reading this post.

WhatsApp is awesome but everything need to change with the time and bring consistent improvements. And WhatsApp always does that for us.

This time they are bringing the most awaited feature by the WhatsApp users including me.

I'm sure, You may also have typed wrong messages or sent the right message to the wrong peoples many times on WhatsApp.
And guess what? You can't even edit or delete them.

What an awkward moment that is! But now its just going to be the past. WhatsApp have tweeted through @WABetaInfo that, they were working on it and now it is already available for the beta users.

Yes! Now you can now edit or delete WhatsApp messages. However according to the information you can't edit or delete the older messages on your WhatsApp Messenger. Unfortunately they didn't tell how much older?

Well i think it will give you access to edit or delete a message until it's seen by the recipient. However i'm not sure about it.

iPhone users can install the latest beta version of WhatsApp to take the benefit of this feature. Windows, BlackBerry and Android users will have to wait some more time.

Don't forget to let us know your reactions on this on the comment box below, Thank you for reading this post and also let your friends know this update by sharing this page.

How to use more than 3 Network Types in your MIUI Android Phones?

MIUI - Android Banner

If you live in the area where 4G and 3G Mobile Networks are still not stable, then this tutorial is just for you.

I wrote this post because I have experienced this network problem many times in my village. Most of the villages and small towns of India still doesn’t have stable 3G/4G or both mobile networks.

If you have faced the same problem, then you might have noticed that if you select “Prefer 4G/LTE” or “Prefer 3G” on your Mobile Phone’s Network Types. It always drops down to “2G only” or 3G in certain situations.

But you can still use 4G or 3G networks on your phone by setting the network types to “4G only” or “3G only”. And guess what?...

Your phone doesn’t have the LTE only (4G only) or 3G only options in the network type settings .”

Well if you are using MIUI Android Phones then you still have the solution. But it’s hidden, and I’ll open it up for you. You can also call it as MIUI Tricks or MIUI Hidden Features or whatever…

Do you know? How the new MIUI is going to be? You can read it here in this post.

You have probably seen that many of the phones including which are using MIUI, gives only 3 Network Types to choose from in their settings i.e., Prefer 4G. Prefer 3G and 2G only.
But if you have a 4G enabled device (also known as LTE) or 3G enabled phones then you can still choose more than 3 Network Types on your phone .

So, let me show you, how you can do that using this Hidden MIUI Feature or MIUI Trick…

First of all, your phone must support 4G/LTE Network(to use LTE only) or 3G Network (to use 3G only). You can’t do it on a 2G phone.
So, if you are using 2G phone then this trick is not for you.

(If you want to watch the tutorial as a video, then you can watch it at the bottom of this post. I've used MI Redmi 2 Prime to make the video and the screenshots bleow.)

Let’s get started,

Step 1:
Go to “Settings” on your phone.

Go to Settings - Home Screen

Step 2:
Scroll down to the bottom of the settings screen or options. You will see an option there named “About Phone”. Click on that…

Click on About phone - Settings Screen

Step 3:
Now you will see, there is an option labelled “ Internal Memory” and on its right side, the information of the Internal Storage has been given.

(You can check the screenshots below for every instructions/steps if you get confused or need more help. You can also click on them to enlarge their size.)

Now click on the “Internal Memory” or its information area continuously for 4 times, and you will land up on screen called “Testing” …

Click on Internal memory - About Phone Screen

Step 4:
In this testing screen, you will see two options named Phone Information1 and Phone Information2 . Phone Information1 contains the informations of SIM 1 and Phone Information2 contains the informations of SIM 2.

Now you have to choose, in which SIM you would like to change the network type. Most of the phones supports 4G or 3G only in the SIM slot 1. In that case you must have to choose SIM 1 and you must have your 4G or 3G SIM card on the SIM slot1.

Otherwise if you are using phones which supports 4G/LTE or 3G on both SIM slots like MI Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 3 etc. then you can choose any of the Phone Information or SIM.

The New Redmi Note 4 is already launched in India which also supports 4G LTE on both SIM slots, Check out what's the BIG thing about it.

Click on Phone Information1 or Phone Information2 as per your choice or requirement.
(In my case I am clicking on the phone information1 to change my SIM1 network type. And my default selected network type is Prefer LTE)

Click on Phone Information - Testing Screen

Step 5:
Now you will land up on the Phone info1 or Phone Info2 screen as per your selection on the step 4.

Here in this screen you should see a line as “ Set preferred network type:” and just below that you will see a drop-down option with your default network type selected. (In my case it’s LTE/GSM auto (PRL) because I had selected prefer LTE on the network type settings.)

In case you have selected your network type on the network type settings of your phone as Prefer LTE then you’ll see LTE/GSM auto (PRL) option. Similarly, for Prefer 3G you will see WCDMA Preferred and for 2G only, you will see GSM only.

Now just click on that. (See the screenshot below if you are getting confused where to click.)

Selected Network Type - Phone Information Screen

Step 6:
Now you will see a lot of options to choose between so many network types. In my case I got the following List of Network Types:

- WCDMA Preferred   (Sets network type as Prefer 3G, WCDMA Technology)
- GSM only   (Sets network type as 2G only, GSM Technology)
- WCDMA only   (Sets network type as 3G only)
- GSM auto (PRL)   (Sets network type as Prefer 2G, GSM Technology)
- CDMA auto (PRL)   (Sets network type as Prefer 2G, CDMA Technology)
- CDMA only    (Sets network type as 2G only, CDMA Technology)
- EvDo only   (Sets network type as 3G only, EvDo Technology)
- GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)   (Sets network type as GSM 2G only or CDMA Prefer 2G)
- LTE/CDMA auto (PRL)    (Sets network type as 4G or CDMA Prefer 2G)
- LTE/GSM auto (PRL)    (Sets network type as Prefer 4G/LTE)
- LTE/GSM/CDMA auto (PRL)   (Sets network type as Prefer 4G/LTE)
- LTE only   (Sets network type as 4G/LTE only)
- LTE/WCDMA    (Sets network type as 4G/LTE or 3G)
- TD-SCDMA only   (Sets network type as 3G only, for China only)
- TD-SCDMA and WCDMA    (Sets network type as 3G China and WCDMA 3G)
- TD-SCDMA and LTE   (Sets network type as 3G China and 4G LTE)
- TD-SCDMA and GSM   (Sets network type as 3G China and GSM 2G)
- TD-SCDMA, GSM and LTE   (Sets network type as 3G China, GSM 2G and LTE 4G)
- TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA   (Sets network type as 3G China and GSM 2G or WCDMA 3G)
- TD-SCDMA, WCDMA and LTE   (Sets network type as 3G China, WCDMA 3G and 4G LTE)
- TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA and LTE   (3G China, GSM 2G or WCDMA 3G and 4G LTE)
- TD-SCDMA, GSM/WCDMA, CDMA and EvDo    (3G China, GSM 2G or WCDMA 3G, CDMA 2G and EvDo 3G)
- TD-SCDMA, LTE, CDMA, EvDo, GSM/WCDMA   (China 3G, LTE 4G, CDMA 2G, EvDo 3G, GSM 2G or WCMDA 3G)
- Unknown    (It’s not a Network Type, it’s an option to display network type error.)

(The list of above 23 network types appears on my Redmi 2 Prime; it may vary from phone to phone or based on locations.)

You can select any of them (from the above list) as per your need. Usually in India, the most used Network Technologies are LTE, WCDMA, GSM and CDMA.

As I have mentioned in the list above LTE is 4G,WCDMA is 3G and both GSM and CDMA are 2G but with different technologies.

So if you want to set your Network Type as 4G only then select LTE only. And if you want to set your network type as 3G only then choose WCDMA only.

The video tutorial is given below as promised above, you can also watch it on our official YouTube Channel.

I am pretty sure if you are facing such network problems then it will help you definitely. However, if you have any questions, problems or suggestions; please post it in the comment box below and don’t forget to like, comment and share it if you want.
Thank you for reading this post, Have a good day!

The day when demonetization started, India started growing with full speed towards Digital Economy. After demonetization, the Indian government came up with the UPI Payment System. The UPI stands for Unified Payment Interface. In case you don't know anything about UPI - You can read my post "Everything you need to know about UPI (Unified Payment Interface)"

The reason I have provided details about UPI above, is that - The BHIM App runs with the same interface system i.e., UPI (Unified Payment Interface) System. Now let's see everything we need to know about the BHIM App….

First of all, let me tell you that the name BHIM is not taken from the BHIM from the Ramayana or the "Chota Bheem" from POGO TV or Cartoon Network. I'm telling you this because I saw many peoples being confused and assuming that it is named after the BHIM from the Ramayana (It's funny, but yet true).

The name BHIM stands for Bharat Interface for Money. It is developed by the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI). According to the makers of BHIM, …

"Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) is an initiative to enable fast, secure, reliable cashless payments through your mobile phone. BHIM is inter-operable with the other Unified Payment Interface (UPI) applications and bank accounts. BHIM is made in India and dedicated to the service of the nation."

How it works?

Register your Bank Accounts with the BHIM app and set an UPI PIN for the Bank Account. Your mobile number becomes your Payment Address (PA) and simply you can start your transactions. Yes! It is simple as that.

Features of the BHIM App:

Send and Receive Money:Send and Receive Money to your friends, family, customer or anyone through a mobile number or payment address. The money can also be sent to any Non-UPI Supported Banks using IFSC and MMID. You can also collect money by sending money request and also you can reverse such transactions. Now you may also want to know, How to Perform a transaction in UPI enabled applications? or continue reading this post.

QR Code:
You can scan and use QR Code to simplify things and get rid of entering payment address while doing any transactions. Merchants can use their QR Code to collect money from the customers by displaying it or it's printout.

The complete review of SONATA ACT watch and How does it work?

SONATA ACT Watches Banner

The recently launched SONATA ACT watch is already getting a lot of attention from every one of us. And there's No doubt in, what's the reason behind its popularity? It is made for women safety, launched by the  TATA Group of Companies.

As we know, it is made for the women safety. So first of all we must thank TATA Group of Companies for taking this step forward for the women's safety. Definitely we will see many more innovative products like this with lots of improvements. But yet, let's see  How effective is this watch when it comes to women safety? How to use it? How does it work? And many more things about it…

The SONATA ACT watch works with the ACT (App-Enabled Coordinates Tracker)  technology. It has 3 different models with different colors. All the watches are analog.

The watch has a Panic Alarm button  positioned just straight to no. 8 (VIII) on the clock. I have shown it on the screenshot below:

SONATA ACT Watch - Silver Black with Panic Button

As i have already mentioned, it works with the  ACT (App-Enabled Coordinates Tracker) technology. I think you have already figured it out that it needs an app to work from the name of the technology used in it.

Yes, you must have the app to make it work. Without the app it's nothing but just a watch. The app is available on Android and iOS platform with the name ACT by SONATA. So you must have a smartphone to use the safety feature. It's a little bit of disappointment because not every women uses the smartphones.

In fact, if you check the survey data then only 17-20% women in India are using smartphones. So it's still not the best way for the women safety. But yet, the good news is that we can still use this product to secure 17-20% of them. Check out their official ad below if you want:

How to use SONATA ACT watch for the women safety?

First of all, you have to install the app named as ACT by SONATA. The app is available on the Google Play Store and iOS Store.

If you are using Android Smartphone, then  you must have Android 4.4 or greater

As you may already know. This watch sends SMS and Notifications with the location to selected persons. All you have to do is, "Just press the Panic Alarm Button twice"

The SONATA ACT watch uses your smartphone to send the SMS with the location using Bluetooth. So you must have to  keep the Bluetooth of your phone always "ON" and the GPS also, to trace the location

After turning ON the Bluetooth of your phone, you have to  pair it. To pair your SONATA ACT watch with your smartphone just press the panic alarm button twice.

After pairing your watch with the smartphone, it will be registered with your Device ID and Registered Mobile No. that you will register on the ACT by SONATA app.

After opening the app enter your details. And list all your emergency contacts on the app by manual typing or from the phone-book (Contacts).

That's not all,...
your parents/guardians/selected persons will also have to install the app. They will have to register as guardian/parents on the app using the details.
The SONATA ACT watch not only sends the SMS but also sends notification on the app installed by guardian.

Still that's not all,...
you must have Balance/SMS Pack and Data Balance so that it can work. If you don't have balance in phone, then the SMS won't be sent. And if you don't have the Data Balance then, the notification will not be sent. And also it will be difficult to trace the location.

So you must have either Main Balance/SMS Pack or Data Balance to use this feature. But it is always the best to have the combination of them. i.e., Having both, Main Balance/SMS Pack and Data Balance.

So, should you buy it?

Well, that depends. If you can afford all the conditions on which it works, then you can go for it.

As turning on your phone's Bluetooth and GPS with Data will cost battery power of your phone. Smartphone's are already a problem when it comes to battery life of the phone and this will increase it. Also the data packs are costly.

The watch doesn't guaranty the safety while having so much conditions. So it depends on you, whether you can adjust or not. But off-course it will increase your security. So it's not so bad either.

Conclusion:  We must appreciate the step taken by the TATA Group of Companies to bring SONATA ACT. But still it can be better. As it has limitations while having lots of conditions it can't be your happy choice. There's no doubt that we will see some improvements soon and may be better products than this. Hope to have some better solutions while admiring it from the heart.

Please let us know your thoughts, comments or feedback in the comment box below. Do like and share it if you liked it. And off-course let me know if there's any mistakes.
Thank You for reading! Have a good day!
